EXPERT ADVICE: Begin shopping for your gown early. Most inventory arrives in stores in January and February. Girls with earlier proms are out in full force and will take the best gowns. This season is quite short and stores don't usually replace styles as they sell. At The Gallery by Lynette we replace until the end of February. If you want a killer style then you need to shop early even if you don't know who you will go with.
Modesty Alterations: We have extra fabric for about 95% of the strapless gowns we carry so that you can have your gown exactly how you want. Some schools are requiring straps and we've got you covered. Be sure to visit and become a fan of our Facebook page featuring modesty conversions made by our alterations/design department.
Modest Dresses: We have a large selection of beautiful prom gowns with sleeves in all sizes and a rainbow of colors.
Be sure to give your date an actual swatch of the fabric of your dress. A cell phone picture does not help and may actually make the process of matching his tux more difficult.
Plan enough time between your day date and the actual prom to get ready. It takes more time to get beautiful than men think.
